What time is Check In/Check out?
Check in for your suite begins at 4 p.m., Check out is before 11 a.m.

What are the White Water Bay Hours?
Please scroll over the calendar above for hours and availability. Day tickets can be reserved in advance by calling 518-824-6000 or at the Front Desk on the day of your visit. Day tickets are available any day including Holidays or school breaks including the summer holiday based on availability and capacity. White Water Bay availability is guaranteed to our guests staying in the Lodge.

What Are Extra Person Charges?
Each room rate is based on certain occupancy, and if you have extra people past the occupancy, there will be an additional charge of $30 per extra person/ per night along with the additional charges associated with our packages (i.e. meal plans, tickets to The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom, etc.). For example, a traditional suite is based on occupancy of four people, but it will sleep a maximum six people. The 5th and 6th person would be an additional $30 per person/per-night.

What Are The Policies on Outside Food & Beverage in White Water Bay?
There is no outside food or beverage (including coolers) allowed in White Water Bay. If guests want to eat outside food or beverage they may do so in their room.
Birch Bark Grille (located in White Water Bay) sells a variety of food and beverage options. These items may be enjoyed in White Water Bay. No food or beverages are allowed on any of the attractions or in any of the pools in White Water Bay.

Do you have to be a guest of the Lodge to use the indoor water park?
No. We offer day passes on a limited basis starting at $25.00. To check availability, see our water park calendar on the top of this page.

Season Pass Holders?
As a Season Pass Holder, you will receive a discount on your overnight accommodations of ten percent off of our regular rates. This discount doesn't apply to any packages or promotional rates.

What is the difference between Adjoining and Connecting Suites?
Adjoining means next door to each other or as close as possible. Connecting means there is a door between the two rooms.

How do I get in touch with a guest of The Lodge?
Please call 518-824-6000 to get in touch with a guest that is staying at The Lodge. The 800 number is for reservations only and can not be transferred to guest rooms.

Are water shoes required in the water park?
Water shoes are not required, but shoes are required in other areas of the hotel.

Are children required to wear life vests?
It is recommended that children 48" and under and weak swimmers wear a life vest while in the water park. Parents should keep their children within arms length at all times while in the water park. Guests may bring in their own life vests for use in the park, provided it is US Coast Guard approved. All inflatables including Floaties/Swimmies/Water Wings, kickboards and inflatable tubes are not allowed.

Are there smoking rooms at The Lodge?
All areas of The Lodge are non smoking including the non smoking Suites. If any smoking does occur, there is a $250 smoking fine that will be applied to your suite.

Pet Policy?
We do not allow pets at The Lodge.

Cancel Policy?
We charge one night’s room and tax as an advance deposit. If you choose a package, the full package could be asked as the deposit. All Saturday, holiday and school vacation reservations will require a 7-day prior cancellation to receive a full refund of your one night deposit. All Sunday - Friday reservations will require a 72 hour prior cancellation to receive a full refund of your one night deposit.

Cooking Policy?
Hotplates, George Forman Grills, and toasters are not allowed in our hotel. Each guest suite offers a mini refrigerator and microwave oven.

Are towels provided for use in the indoor water park?
The Lodge provides complimentary towels for use in White Water Bay, the indoor water park. Towels must be returned to the water park attendant after use.

Can you rent movies in your suite?
Movies and games are available for rent in each suite. Outside DVD players will not work on our TV’s.

What are our dining options at The Lodge?
There are three dining options – Birch Bark Grill (located in the water park), Tall Tales Tavern (pub style restaurant located on the Lobby level),and Johnny Rockets which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located in Johnny Rockets is a Sports Lounge that has more than 20 Flat Panel TV's to enjoy all the best sporting events.

What activities are available to kids?
The Six Flags Great Escape Lodge Kids Klub offers various crafts and activities daily. Please make sure to pick up an activity schedule on day of arrival. There is also Starlight Arcade located off the lobby. The arcade offers different games for all ages.

Is a credit card required at check in even if my suite has been pre-paid?
A credit card is required at check in to cover incidental charges that may be incurred during your stay. At check in, your credit card will be authorized to cover the cost of additional nights and $50.00 per night for incidentals.

Cast Policy
Waterproof casts are only allowed in Tak-It-Eesi Creek, Lott-A-Watta Bay, Soakum Springs, Tip-A-Kanu Beach (pool area only) and Tall
Timbers Treehouse (structure area only).

Does the Lodge accept Debit Cards?
The Lodge does accept Debit Cards, and an authorization will be held against your card. Even though the authorization is released at check out, it may take your bank up to 10 business days to release the hold.

Does the Lodge have quiet hours?
Quiet hours are between 11PM and 7AM, but we ask that all guests are courteous to other guests during their stay.

As a guest of the Lodge do we get a discount at the The Great Escape theme park?
Discounted tickets to The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom are available in Northwoods Gift Shop on the Lobby level. Also, check our Great Deals page for packages that include tickets to The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom.

Where can I get a bathing suit if I forgot mine?
Swimsuits are sold at both of the Lodge’s gift shops. Gitchee Goomee Gift Shop has everything that you would need for a day in the water – bathing suits, flip flops, suntan lotion and more. Northwood Traders has the perfect souvenirs to bring home with you – T-Shirts, key rings, and Looney Tunes items. Denim shorts or pants are not allowed to be worn on any attraction or pool in White Water Bay.

I have heard that you are sold out for the next year. Is that true?
The Lodge is not sold out for the next year; however, school vacations and holidays do book quickly. Please check out our sold out page for specific dates. During different times of the year there are certain restrictions. If you have any questions, please call 888.708.2684 to speak with a reservations agent.

Do children need to have a swim suit on even if they are in diapers?
All guests at White Water Bay are required to wear a swimsuit; however, if the guest is diaper dependent, a swim diaper AND the plastic "reusable" swim diaper/cover up are also required underneath the swimsuit. |
